A campaign such as this is not inexpensive and Mr. van Doorn's opponent in this race is well funded and an experienced and aggressive campaigner.

John wants to WIN this election, and if elected, to give four years of dedication to this office the likes of which people of this county have never seen. But to win this election, it will require more than the initial funding that Mr. van Doorn has put into this campaign. It will take the help of others, of people like yourself that care about San Diego County, through the giving of either your time or monetary contributions.
